The Foods

Tequila Tears

5/5

The Foods, an old school punk band from San Diego, California have stunned us once again with their second self-released album “Tequila Tears.” Their debut album “Psycho Kill” in 2002 was the spark that set their ever growing reputation on fire. Now with their immaculate addition of “Tequila Tears” that fire has grown into an overwhelming explosion.

The Foods righteously lead a musical revolution which has remained unparalleled. Songs such as, “You’d Fuck Him”, “Aqui Esta Mi Corazon”, and “My Stepmom Sucks” shatter even the most callus eardrums in ways that other punk bands can only dream of. Along with their beautiful rendition of “La Bamba,” a Ritchie Valens classic, their musical variety is limitless.

After dominating the San Diego punk scene for the past 4 years, The Foods are still as strong as ever. “Tequila Tears” is nonetheless a superb album that should be cherished by one and by all, it is definitely worth the money you borrow from your parents and never pay back.
