“Firesight” is the much anticipated debut album released under a major label and it certainly does not disappoint. The 24 year old singer-songwriter from L.A has a diverse style which encompasses the genres of Blues, Jazz, Country and more, with overtones reminiscent of Norah Jones.
Baylin’s smooth, soulful voice combined with her deeply meaningful lyrics produces a CD containing eleven tracks, evoking such surprising emotion considering her age; however one cannot help but acknowledge what a unique talent she is.
Jessie Baylin had a large fan base before the release of “Firesight” but rest assured the appreciation of her sublime music and respect for her as an artist will continue to flourish, as a result of this definitive album that is destined to be a hit.
It is both refreshing and memorable, indeed a worthy addition to anyone’s music collection.
