Echo Screen
Euphoria
3/5
New Jersey's Echo Screen makes their debut with the pop rock album
"Euphoria." Depicting love, heartache, and pain, this album takes
listeners on a euphoric journey. Certain bands shine with their harder
more aggressive songs and others with their softer rock sounds. Echo
Screen definitely shines brightest with their mellow rock ballads.
Songs like "Science of Stopping Time," "October," and "Submitted for
the Approval of the Midnight Society" demonstrate the band's great
lyricism and fresh sound. "This Letter Bomb" and "Rushmore" are
up-beat and have that feel good vibe, the type of songs you can jam to
while cruising in your car. "Euphoria" is a solid debut effort; I
would like to see how much Echo Screen can grow musically next time
around.
Key Tracks: Science of Stopping Time, October, Submitted for the
Approval of the Midnight Society, This Letter Bomb, Rushmore.
