Bryan Adams

11
4/5
Bryan Adams found a formula many, many years ago that has given him massive success. With “11,” for good reason, Adams has stuck with that formula. Adams has written about all the different stages of love, and though it may seem cliché to many by now, what has worked in the past still turns heads today. Granted, Adams has mellowed a bit, as the album is more mature and adult-contemporary, but his consistency is right on the money.
“I Thought I’d Seen Everything” is an amazing romantic track, and possibly could be the wedding song of the summer. “Flower Gone Wild” presents a view of today’s celebrity lifestyle. “Oxygen” is pure guitar driven fun. "Walk on By" is a ballad about how a dad feels when his daughter leaves home.
There may be nothing that re-invents the wheel here, but why try? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
