AFI

Decemberunderground
4/5
It has been three years since the California based band AFI released
their last album "Sing the Sorrow." Now the guys are back with
"Decemberunderground," a twelve-track disc filled with intense lyricism
and riveting beats. "Decemberunderground" begins with Prelude "12/21," a
haunting foreshadowing of the mood and feel of the rest of the album.
For those who love energetic, high octane songs - key tracks would be
"Kill Caustic," "Affliction," and the debut single "Miss Murder." "Summer
Shudder," "Love like Winter," and "Endlessly, she said," prove to be more
subdued with poetically charged lyrics that all AFI fans can appreciate.
"Decemberunderground" possesses both lyrical and musical edginess, and
is proof that AFI has not lost their touch!
